Dr Michael Sutcliffe is pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students.

Research description: 

I am interested in developing engineering materials models for soft tissue in collaboration with medical researchers and clinicians and applying them to structures. Examples would be brain deformation due to tumour growth or artery stresses associated with atherosclerosis.
