Dr Peter Campbell is Head of Cancer, Ageing and Somatic Mutation, and Senior Group Leader at the Sanger Institute and is joint head of the Cancer Genome Project. His research focuses on the use of next-generation sequencing technologies for annotating cancer genomes. He is also a practising haematologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
