Research description

My research has been so far focused on Metabolism and Cancer, in understanding the effects of perturbation of metabolic networks in the context of cancer. In particular, I have a special interest in understanding the aberrant metabolism displayed by tumor cells not only for identifying therapeutic opportunities but also for tumor detection and treatment response monitoring using metabolic imaging.
