Research description

Dr Susan Harden is the Oncology Lead Clinician for Lung Cancer at Addenbrooke's hospital. She qualified in medicine from Oxford University and trained in London and Cambridge. Dr Harden was awarded a doctorate in Medicine from Oxford University for her 2 years of translation research undertaken at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA. Her current research interests are in translational and radiotherapy trials for lung cancer, and she has a strong clinical interest in stereotactic radiotherapy for lung tumours. Dr Harden is a member of the NCRN Lung clinical Studies Group and NCRN CTRAD group and is chief investigator for several local studies and principal investigator for a number of national NCRI approved studies.
