Research description

Within the Marciniak lab, we work to identify new targets and therapeutic strategies for the treatment of mesothelioma.

We work in collaboration with Mesobank, the largest UK-based mesothelioma biobank, and the Sanger Institute, integrating new models and powerful genomic screening.

We also collaborate with the EPSRC-IRC on targeted delivery for hard-to-treat cancer and test the ability of nanoparticles to deliver chemotherapy or genetic therapy to mesothelioma tumour cells.
