Leads the effort to derive and characterise a large panel of cancer organoid models as part of the international Human Cancer Models Initiative. Within the Translational Cancer Genomics group at the Sanger Institute these models are utilised for genomic and functional analyses to identify novel cancer targets/therapeutics as well as biomarkers of drug response.
