After many years working as a postdoctoral research scientist (Molecular Biologist) within the University and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, I have been Scientific Administrator and Graduate Student Administrator with the Department of Oncology Since November 2008. As such, I produce scientific reports for the department and the Cambridge Cancer Cluster as a whole (Department of Oncology, MRC Cancer Unit and CRUK CI). I also look after all aspects of Graduate Student administration for the department, including dealing with initial enquiries, handling all applications and advising students through to the point of graduation.
