Are you looking for new opportunities to exchange ideas and interact more closely with other research groups?
The Cancer Research UK Open Lab Initiative has been launched to encourage CRUK Centres Network research groups, and other CRUK-funded laboratories, to hold joint group meetings and journal clubs online during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and beyond. Our aim is to connect research groups with mutual or complementary interests and expertise from across the UK to spark creative discussions, generate novel scientific ideas, and establish new research collaborations!
The Open Lab Initiative removes all the fuss and hassle from finding new research collaborators – our proprietary matching algorithms and Open Register make meeting your ideal research partner a breeze!
Simply sign up to join the Initiative using our online webform and within 5 working days we will match you to another research group to hold a joint virtual group meeting or journal club. Alternatively you can add your research group to our Open Register to allow others to match with you directly.
The Open Lab Initiative is currently in its pilot phase and is open to all members and research groups at the following CRUK Major Centres:
- Cambridge Centre
- City of London Centre
- Convergence Science Centre (ICR-Imperial)
- Manchester Centre
A full, Centres Network-wide launch will take place in a few weeks' time.
