Rebecca is a Group Leader within Biosciences at Cancer Research Horizons.

She was formerly Head of Target Discovery at the Milner Therapeutics Institute, where she led the experimental research programme within the Centre for Pathway Analysis, working on collaborative projects with Cambridge academics to develop clinically relevant, well validated targets for disease therapy. Rebecca also worked closely with the CRUK Cambridge Centre to support the conversion of preclinical oncology research to clinical impact, through research, industry engagement and entrepreneurship.

Rebecca has 20 years experience working in academic, industry and start-up settings and has developed a wide range of experience in target validation, drug discovery and project management, much of this focused in oncology.
