Breast Cancer Research Demystified

Please join us on Thursday 2 November, 18:30–20:30, at the Old Divinity School, St John's College, Cambridge to find out all about our pioneering breast cancer research.

Have you, or anyone you know, been part of a clinical research study and wondered:

  • what happens next?
  • what were the results?
  • what has happened the research samples that were donated?
  • who are the scientists analysing the data?
  • has the research changed care for future patients?

... then this event is for you, and also to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that participates in Cambridge-led breast cancer clinical research.

We will have a series or short presentations giving updates on the Personalised Breast cancer Programme, Partner, Radiotherapy trials and how research has led to shortened treatment times.

We will also hear from researchers at the CRUK Cambridge Institute who are part of a project looking at Triple Negative Breast Cancer samples donated as part of PBCP in minute detail.

There will be time to ask questions and talk to researchers over a drink. Please join us!
