Cancer research in Cambridge; an academic perspective

Cambridge Cancer Centre postdoc meeting takes place THIS FRIDAY, 13 February 2015 - for postdocs, organised by postdocs.

The 2015 Cambridge Cancer Centre Postdoctoral Meeting will be held on Friday 13 February at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute followed by a dinner at Clare College.

Keynote speaker: Greg Hannon, CRUK Cambridge Institute (formerly from Cold Spring Harbour Laboratory)

This meeting is aimed at all cancer-related postdocs across Cambridge and has been organised by a committee of postdocs from different departments and institutes. The programme has been developed to showcase the excellence and diversity of cancer research in Cambridge, and to provide an opportunity for a number of postdocs to present their research. At the end of the day the PI speakers will join a panel discussion chaired by Tony Kouzarides to reflect on their career pathways and to answer questions from the audience. The meeting and dinner afterwards will provide networking opportunities for postdocs across the Cambridge cancer community.

Registration for this meeting has now closed but if you would like to attend, please contact Katie.edwards@cruk.cam.ac.uk. Thank you.
