Research description

My research is focused on the genetically inherited contribution of the miRNA processing pathway in certain paediatric cancers, using NGS technologies and bioinformatics. I am also developing PCR & NGS-based assays for extracted blood DNA to identify variant carriers in familial cases of breast and pancreatic cancer.
