Research description

I am a PhD student in the Department of Biochemistry on the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre’s MRes/PhD training programme. I completed my MSci degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol in 2020, with lab-based projects in protein biochemistry that had a pharmaceutical interest. My research interests lie in using the power of integrated structural biology and biophysical techniques to elucidate the architecture of key molecular machines in the cell that can be involved in tumourigenesis. This ultimately helps provide insight into key molecular mechanisms that take place within cells and where relevant, create potential drug targets to eventually use clinically against certain types of cancers.
