Dr Nicholas Walton is pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students.
I lead the PathGrid project, an astro-medical initiative applying astronomical image analysis and data handling techniques, in the context of a systems pathology approach, to the analysis of tissue micro arrays and medical microscopy imagery more generally. We're working with colleagues in Cancer Research-UK, currently aiding in their search for new techniques aimed at the treatment of breast cancer.
