Research description

Research and development of medical devices for cancer diagnosis and therapy. Current research collaborations include: - Particle delivery to and uptake in lymph nodes - Clinical studies of magnetic sentinel node biopsy - Adjuvant hyperthermia as a cancer treatment - Advanced magnetic sensing and imaging technologies and their application in cancer diagnosis and treatment Endomag's first product, the Sentimag® and Sienna+® device system was developed to increase access to the standard of care in breast cancer staging by providing an alternative approach to locating sentinel lymph nodes. The Endomag system uses magnetic sensing and avoids the need for traditional radioisotopes in sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), improving workflow and costs while increasing availability of the standard of care and improving patient comfort and quality of life.
