Dr Stephen John is pleased to consider applications from prospective PhD students.
My research focuses on ethical and epistemological issues arising in public health programmes. I have a specific interest in cancer screening, especially as it relates to Rose's prevention paradox, to notions of consent, and to debates in philosophy of science over "inductive risk".
